Fall & Winter Class Schedule

Knitting Mosaic Coasters Class: Mondays from 1pm to 2:30pm: November 2nd, 9th, 16th and 30th at the Beindham Western Greenwich Civic Center in room 115: Sign up link and at the Perrot Memorial Library in Old Greenwich, dates and times TBD:

Class at the Beindham Western Greenwich Civic Center is being offered through the Greenwich Senior Center and in order to sign up you need to be a member. Membership is free and you need to be a Greenwich resident and 55 or older: https://www.greenwichwallacecenter.org/membership

In this class we will be learning Mosaic knitting which is a simple form of colorwork knitting where you only need to work with one color at a time.  We will be making four coasters which are quick knits and perfect gifts just in time for the holidays!  To take this class you must know how to cast on, knit and bind off.  The patterns for each of the coasters are included as well as the yarn, a sport weight, superwash merino wool (which means you can throw them in the washing machine!) in contrasting colors navy and white.  All you need to bring are US size 4 (3.5mm) needles.  Since we will be learning to knit from a chart, below is a link to a Chart Keeper which is optional.
